Themes Covered
The Field Publicity Units under the Region conduct programmes on a variety of themes such as education (SSA), health(NRHM), sanitation(NBA) , rural employment (MNREGS), rural development schemes(Bharat Nirman), water conservation, women’s empowerment, child welfare, welfare of minorities etc. The Programmes under Bharat Nirman are the special focus of the programmes conducted in the villages. The main thrust of field programmes of the region is border, left wing extremism affected and minorities concentration districts. The Units also conduct special publicity campaign on the request of different ministries. A list of the themes covered by the Units is given below:

Highlights
 
The main highlights of the region include special publicity drive on NSAP, Food Security bill and NICH in left wing affected districts and border districts of Bihar.
During this month region has organised 04 Special Programme on RMNCH+A ( FS- 30, OC- 61, PH Ex- 29, Feedback- 45, Total village covered in this programme -32). Region has also organised routine programme in this month (FS- 12, OC- 30, PH Ex- 12 Feedback -10 Total village covered- 16).
The main highlights of Bihar region include extensive campaign on Bharat nirman stories phase III, besides programmmes on NSAP. Hon'ble MP Kishanganj appreciated the efforts of DFP and commented that he was personally impressed with the perforamnce.
During February,2017 Patna region has organised four Special Outreach Programme on RMNCH+A in 32 villages under its jurisdiction besides organising routine programme in different media dark areas.
