             The state of Rajasthan with its 33 districts comes under the Rajasthan region. The Regional Office is located in Jaipur and is operational since 1958 .The Rajasthan Region has 12 Field Units. Each field Unit has 2-3 districts under its area of operation. The 12 units are located in Ajmer, Alwar, Barmer,Bikaner, Doongarpur, Jaisalmer, Jodhpur,Kota,SawaiMadhopurSirohi, Sri Ganganagar, Udaipur. Of the 12 Field Units, Jaisalmer, Barmer, Bikaner & Sri Ganganager are Border Units located near the Indo-Pak international border.

     The units conduct programmes in the villages on a variety of themes such as education(SSA), health (NHM), rural employment (MNREGS) social security scheme, rural development schemes, BBBP, Swachh Bharat, water conservation, women’s empowerment, child welfare, welfare of minority and deprived sections of society etc.
           What's New
In June,2017, DFP Rajasthan has organized 545 programme activities in 117 villages (16 Border) as a part of the special campaign to create awareness about flagship schemes of Government of India including Social Security, Beti Bachao-Beti Padhao, Crop Insurance Scheme, Ujjawala Yojana, Swachh Bharat Abhiyan and International Yoga Day. Screening of PM’s Man Ki Baat (MKB) and Focussed Group Discussions on issues raised in MKB were held in villages.
These programme activities includes 101 film shows, 259 oral communications, 176 photo exhibitions, 9 quiz competitions and 6 SOPs as a part of Saath Hai, Vishwas Hai, Ho Raha Vikas Hai Campaign. About 74,785 people were directly reached through the programmes conducted in the Region. 6 Special programmes were organized by Ajmer-Bikaner, Barmer-Sirohi, Dungarpur-Udaipur, Jodhpur-Jaisalmer, Kota-Alwar and Sriganganagar-Sawaimadhopur Units. 6 awareness rallies were also organized during these programmes. Special programme on 3rd International Yoga Day were organized by all the units. Pre publicity programmes for creating awareness about 3rd International Yoga Day were also organized by the Units during SOPs and regular prograrmmes.
