             The state of Rajasthan with its 33 districts falls under the Rajasthan region. The Regional Office is located in Jaipur and is operational since 1958 .The Rajasthan Region has 12 Field Units. Each field Unit has 2-3 districts under its area of operation. The 12 units are located in Ajmer, Alwar, Barmer,Bikaner, Doongarpur, Jaisalmer, Jodhpur,Kota,SawaiMadhopurSirohi, Sri Ganganagar, Udaipur. Of the 12 Field Units, Jaisalmer, Barmer, Bikaner & Sri Ganganager are Border Units located near the Indo-Pak international border.

          The units conduct programmes in the villages on a variety of themes such as education(SSA), health (NRHM), rural employment (MNREGS), rural development schemes, water conservation, women’s empowerment, child welfare, welfare of minority and deprived sections of society etc.

In January, 2013, DFP Rajasthan has organized 89 special programmes including 36 special programmes on Direct Benefit Transfer Scheme (DBT), 10 special awarenss programmes during the PIC in Simalawara block of Dungarpur district, 43 special programmes for Ministry of Helath & Family Welfare and 1 special programme on Voters awareness.
About 83,201 people were directly reached through the programmes conducted in the region.
RO, Jaipur launched a special campaign in the 3 districts where Direct Benefit Transfer Scheme is being implemented from 01st January, 2013. 4 units each were deployed at Ajmer, Alwar and Udaipur districts. These units conducted 36 special awareness programme on Direct Benefit Transfer Scheme in these districts.
Besides this, a record number of 794 feedback stories were collected from the grass root level about the effectiveness of Government of India programmes.
