  • New website for DFP Dehradun Launched
  • The Field Units of Karnataka Region organized a Campaign on Health & Family Welfare during the month of DECEMBER 2012
  • In andhra pradesh, all field units observed World AIDS Day on 01st December, 2012, and International Day of Disabled Persons on 03rd December, 2012 and highlighted the theme through organizing oral communications, public meetings, group discussions and film shows.
  • During the period under report, six DFP units in Gujarat arranged 87 film shows, 96 oral communication programmes, 79 photo exhibitions and 19 special interactive programmes on health and related issues. Through these programmes, they reached around 31 thousand people. Four special programmes were organized on the occasion of Gandhi Jayanti. Surat unit organized two programmes and rallies in Union territory of Dadra & Nagar Haveli. The unit participated for PIC, at Netrang in Bharuch district while Bhavnagar and Bhuj units participated in PIC held at Porbander. They submitted 25 feedback reports.
  • The main highlights of the region include Special Campaigns on National Rural Health Mission, Mid Day Meal, Bharat Nirman, Dengue, NICH Programme by the unit offices with special focus in minority, border and left wing extremism affected districts. In all 58 film Shows, 122 Oral Communications, 68 Photo Exhibitions , 32 Special Programmes and 150 nos. of feed-back were collected during the month of December, 2012.
  • Two field units of J & K Region i.e Poonch and Kathua organised special publicity programmes in the Pre-PIC at Hiranagar of Kathua district on 10th and 11th of December 2012 and participated in the Main Public Information Campaign from 12th to 14th of December 2012.
  • In the Naxal affected District-Sonbhadra the Campaign on Health, Right to Education, Right to Information, PPI and National Social Help Prog. were conducted.
  • All the units carried out a month-long intensive campaign on National Social Assistance programme by arrangin g area's specific programmes.
