Welcome To DFP                                                                         The Directorate of Field Publicity is one of the Media Units of the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting. It is engaged in the task of publicizing various programmes and policies of the Government through its network of 207 Field Publicity Units under the control and supervision of 22 Regional Offices.Field Publicity came into existence in 1953 with 32 Field Publicity Units under the control of four Regional Offices.

JHARKHAND

In Jharkhand & Central Bihar Region All the seven FPUs conducted intensive campaign on the issues relating to RTI Nutrition and Hindi Diwas. The Regional Head N N Pathak participated in the campaign organized by Gaya Unit in Chandoti Block.It was indeed a great experience on the part of the directorate of field publicity that almost illiterate women were quite enthusiastic to know about RTI. Many of the women also took part in the quiz competition in which the reply of the participants was extremely encouraging. Prizes were also distributed among the winners of quiz competition.


ANDHRA PRADESH

11FPUs organized awareness campaign on RTIAct&observed NationalNutritionWeek1-7 Sept14& highlighted themes through OCs FSs seminars & public meetings.KakinadaFPU organized 2Splprogs on RTI,PMJDY at DNRJrCollege,Bhimavaram,WG Dist on 2.9.14&Toleru(V),Narsapur(M),WGDist.TVKReddy attended above progs.


NAGALAND & MANIPUR

Nagaland and Manipur Region conduct 1 PIC at churachandpur district of Manipur and 23 Special Programmes on RTI, Pradhanmantri Jan Dhan Yojna, and Swasth Bharat Campaign of this September 2014.


JAMMU & KASHMIR

Due to flood in Jammu and Kashmir, most of our field units could not organise publicity activities during the month of September 2014. However, four field units viz., Kathua, Poonch, Rajouri and Udhampur organized routine as well as special publicity programmes on Right to Information Act-2005.


UTTAR PRADESH

Campaign on Special Science Express Train, RTI, Hindi Diwas and Nutrition Week has been organised by the Units of Lucknow Region.


TAMIL NADU

All the units highlighted the main theme of RTI and National Nutrition Week during this month and organised 29 special programmes on RTI and National Nutrition Week, apart from 98 filmshows 146 oral communications 92 photo exhibitions and collected 81 feed backs covering 112 villages


MADHYA PRADESH

PROGRAMMES ON SWACHHTA


ORISSA

During the month under report the FPUs of Odisha Region organised 29 special programmes on RTI, NNW, Hindi Diwas/Pakhwada,VBD and Teachers'Day. The units visited 111 villages of different localities and addressed about 30000 target audiences of different walks of life and mainly focused on dengue.


NORTH WEST

रोहतक इकाई ने चंडीगढ़ में दिनांक 9-9-14 व 10-9-14 कारण बहादुरगढ़ दौरा 8-9-14 से रद्द किया व वापसी पर 11-9-14 ADC कार्यालय में मीटिंग स्वीप कारण व 15 अक्तूबर, 2014 विधान सभा चुनाव तिथि घोषित होते ही आचार संहिता लागू होने पर सभी अन्य विषयों पर प्रचार बंद कर मतदाता जागरूकता अभियान आरंभ किया व मोखिक वार्ता, प्रदर्शनी, pamphlet फिक्सिंग व 3 OCविशेष जागरूकता कार्यक्रम कर दिये l


BIHAR

During this month unit's organized mount extensive campaign on Science Express, Hindi Diwas/Pakhwara, RTI, Sadhbhawna Diwas/Pakhwara etc at difference places of Bihar. In all Unit organized 72 F.S, 17 Spl. Prog., 107 O.C, 77 P.E, 80 Feed back and total no of audience covered about 41168.


RAJASTHAN

In September,2014, DFP Rajasthan has organized 420 programme activities in 108 villages on National Nutrition Week, PM’s Speech on Teacher’s Day, Right to Information, Hindi Diwas and Rajbhasha Hindi Pakhwara. Essay Competitions on PM’s Speech on Teacher’s Day and Hindi Diwas were organized.

West Bengal North and Sikkim Region


CHHATTISGARH

In September 2014 DFP Raipur Region has organized various dfp activities on focus Right to Information act. And observed Nutrition week 1 to 7 September 2014 ,Durg Unit held a special discussion on RTI and SWA with women group of Nara village on 25th the programme has bee inspect by Director DFP


KARNATAKA

The FPUs of Karnataka Region organized Programmes on Right to Information Act during the month of September-14 in identified blocks by organizing interactive programmes. The each interactive programme package includes Film Show, Photo Exhibition, Group discussions, Public Meeting. National Nutrition Week was observed by the FPUs. The Special programmes interactive sessions, group discussions, film shows and nutritious food competitions were organised. Hindi Divas / Fortnight observed by the units including special programmes.


ASSAM

All units of DFP ASSAM region carried out 543 programmes on RTI during September 2014 in areas including border and minority. These programmes consisted of 59 film shows, 15 special programmes, 275 public communication & opinion and 82 photo exhibitions. Also, 112 number of feedbacks were obtained.


GUJARAT

Six DFP units in Gujarat arranged 106 film shows, 165 group discussions, 73 photo exhibitions and 32 special interactive programmes on Right to Information Act and child immunisation. Units submitted 93 feedback reports on RTI act. Surat and Godhra unit participated in Public Information Campaign.


MMT

MMT Region of DFP conducted its monthly programs through its field units mainly on the theme RTI. The Region organized 16 special programs during the month.


UTTARANCHAL

RO, DFP, Dehradun, In September,2014, DFP Dehradun has organized 57 Special programme on the subject RTI/Nutrition/Anti tobacco and Health. This includes 57 quiz competitions, 119 Film Shows, 156 Oral Communication and 110 Photo exhibitions and covered 116 villages.


MAHARASHTRA

Panaji and Ratnagiri units participated in PIC Porvorim, North Goa. Shri Dilip Parulekar, Tourism Minister, Goa was the Chief Guest of PIC Inauguration Ceremony. shri Jayesh Salgaonkar,ZP President, Goa also present. All units org 191 FS,147 Ph Ex,42 Spl, 235OC n collected 106 Feedback.


WEST BENGAL(SOUTH)

In the month of September, 2014 DFP, West Bengal(S) Region organized mass awareness programmes on Right To Information(RTI) among the target group of audience. During awareness programme on RTI the region publicized the theme in 49 villages of BADP areas in Murshidabad ,South Andaman and North Andaman districts, 16 villages of LWE areas in Bankura and Paschim Medinipur districts, 22 villages in Minority Community(MCD) areas of Bardhaman & South 24 Parganas districts and in 1 village of other identified areas in Howrah district. Altogether 177 group discussions, 19 special programmes, 91 photo exhibitions and 39 film shows were conducted while a total 36963 people(Approx.) were covered in the month of September 2014. Total 134 feedback stories were collected by the units of West Bengal(South) Region in September 2014. Besides Sadbhavana Pledge was taken on 20.08.2014, the FPUs of DFP WB(S) namely Baharampur, Bardhaman, Chuchura and Bankura observed Communal Harmony Fortnight from 20 August to 3 September, 2014 to spread the message of Sadbhavana. ‘Nutrition Week’ from 1st-- 7th September 2014 was also observed by few units of WB(S) region by organizing suitable publicity programmes. To observe Hindi Fortnight from 14th to 28th September 2014 the West Bengal(South) Region conducted a two-day Hindi Workshop involving all the staff members and officers of RO and FPUs on 15th and 16th September 2014 at RO premises. On 15.09.2014 the workshop was addressed by Smt. Rajni Poddar, Hindi Prodhyapika, Raj Bhasa Bhibhag, Kolkata and on 16.09.2014 the workshop was attended by Shri L.K. Sing, Asstt. Director,Hindi Teaching Scheme, Raj Bhasa Bibhag, Kolkata. Smt. Shubha Gupta, Director, DFP Kolkata inaugurated the workshop for both the days. Regional Office DFP, Kolkata also organized a Qly. Hindi Meeting presided over by Smt. Shubha Gupta , Director on 16.09.2014.
