Welcome To DFP                                                                         The Directorate of Field Publicity is one of the Media Units of the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting. It is engaged in the task of publicizing various programmes and policies of the Government through its network of 207 Field Publicity Units under the control and supervision of 22 Regional Offices.Field Publicity came into existence in 1953 with 32 Field Publicity Units under the control of four Regional Offices.

ANDHRA PRADESH

10 FPUs organized 5 SOPs & Rallies. All FPUs observed International Yoga Day on 21.6.15 & organized 10 special progs. Kakinada FPU organized a special prog on one year completion of the Govt at DAVP Exhibition venue at Bhimavaram on 10.06.15. Units organized campaigns on Mission Indradhanush-2015.


ASSAM

all unit of Assam Region conducted awareness activities on the theme of PM Jan Dhan Yojana, Swacha Bharat Abhiyan, Betibachao Beti Padhao , one year acievement of NDA Govt. Prog. during June, 2015.


BIHAR

During this month Bihar region has organised 02 SOP prog. Theme of "Saal Ek Suruat Anek". Forbesganj unit and Munger unit organised have organised SOP prog. 75 FS, 105 OC, 59 Ph Exh. and 46 Feed back collected.


CHHATTISGARH

During the month of June 2015 Raipur Region has organized a day long orientation workshop for SOPs for field officers on the subject of SAL EK SHURUAT ANEK on 15th June at Raipur. The Bilaspur and Balaghat Unit has organized 2 SOPs along with DAVP Exhibition van Region observed environment, Yoga day


GUJARAT

During the month of June, six field units arranged 98 film shows, 114 group discussions, 71 photo exhibitions and 10 special interactive programmes on flagship programmes. Four special outreach programmes were organized on the theme ‘Saal Ek Shuruat Anek’ to highlight the initiatives taken by NDA go


JAMMU & KASHMIR

J&K Region: Chadoora and Anantnag field units organized pre-publicity of the Public Information Campaign on 12th and 13th of June 2015 and participated in the Main PIC at Budgam from 15th to 17th of June, 2015. The remaining field units organized rallies and special progammes on SOP during June 15


JHARKHAND

All the units of Jharkhand Region has conducted mount massive programme on the theme of BBBP, Swachhta and PMJDY during the month of June 2015.


KARNATAKA

The Field Units of Karnataka Region organized Programmes on Special Programme on SAL EK SHURUAAT ANEK, SPECIAL OUT REACH PROGRAMME and INTERNATIONAL DAY OF YOGA during the month of June- 2015 in identified blocks by organizing interactive programmes. The each interactive programme package includes Rally, Public Meeting, Film Show, Photo Exhibition & Group discussions, Song and Drama programmes.


MADHYA PRADESH



MAHARASHTRA

Kolhapur and Wardha units participated in PIC, Purna, dist-Parbhani. Ratnagiri, Ahmednagar and Nagpur unit participated in DAVP Exhibition stalled at Mumbai, Pune and Nagpur. Units celebrated International Yoga Day on 21 June15 and Swatch Bharat Abhiyan from 22 to 24 June15. Units also puplicize the IMPCC Theme, APY, PMSBY, PMJJBY, PMJDY, Mudra Bank etc.


MMT

During the month under report the MMT Region launched special Outreach Programme in 3 states of Meghalaya, Mizoram and Tripura and covered rural villages. Highlighted the themes on PMJDY, SBA, BBBP and also highlight the 1 year Achievement of the govt. . F/activities are V/S, P/Exh, O/C & spl.prog.


NAGALAND & MANIPUR

DFP (N&M) region has undertaken publicity activities on the theme Mission Indradhanush, Swachh Bharat, PMJDY and BBBP. The region also highlighted on the One year achievement of the Central government. The Region also coordinated and actively participated with DAVP on the theme.


NORTH WEST



ORISSA

Field Units of Odisha Region visited eighty five villages of different geographical location and addressed around fifteen thousand target audience. The Units observed World no Tobacco Day 31 May 2015, World Environment Day on 5 June 2015 and first International Day of Yoga 21 June 2015.


RAJASTHAN

In June,2015, DFP Rajasthan has organized 642 programme activities in 148 villages as part of the special campaign to create awareness about Mission Indradhanush, Beti Bachao-Beti Padhao and Swach Bharat Abhiyan. These programme activities includes 46 quiz, 160 film shows, 261 oral communications


TAMIL NADU

All the units of DFP, Tamilnadu Region organised programmes on International Yoga Day on 21st June, 2015. Some of the units organised programmes on SOP. A total of 17750 audience were covered by the units for Film Show programmes. 7 villages were covered for minority concentration during the month


UTTAR PRADESH

Campaign on “Saal Ek Shuruat Anek, Beti Bachao Beti Padhao, Swatch Bharat, World Environment Day, Rashtriya Lok Adalat and International Yoga Day has been organised by the Units of Lucknow Region.


WEST BENGAL(NORTH)

Jalpaiguri unit organized Special Outreach Programme at Kalchini with partner unit CoochBehar on 25th June,2015 as per DAVP van route. Regional Office,DFP, Siliguri observed International Yoga diwas at Kholachand Primary School on 21st June,2015.


WEST BENGAL(SOUTH)

In the month of June2015(up to 20.06.2015)all the five FPUs of DFP WB(S)organized publicity on three Flagship programmes like PMJDY, SBA,BBBP (SESA)and Indrodhanush in different places under this region. RO organised Regional Workshop on SOP(SESA)and also organised on Hindi Workshop on16th&17th June
