Welcome To DFP                                                                         The Directorate of Field Publicity is one of the Media Units of the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting. It is engaged in the task of publicizing various programmes and policies of the Government through its network of 207 Field Publicity Units under the control and supervision of 22 Regional Offices.Field Publicity came into existence in 1953 with 32 Field Publicity Units under the control of four Regional Offices.

ANDHRA PRADESH

ROHyd & 11FPUs orgd cleanliness drive in our offices on the inaugural day of PM’s prestigious prog of SBA & administered the SBA pledge on 2.10.14, Workshop on SOPcampaign organized on 17.10.14, 10FPUs launched SOPcampaign on PMJDY,SBA,BBBP. APReg observed V.A.Week on 27th &administered the pledge.


ASSAM

All units of DFP Assam region carried out 468 programme on Swachh Bharat Abhiyan, Right to Information during October,14 in areas including border and minority. the programmes consisted of 36 Film Show 7 Special programmes, 277 oral communication 58 Photo Exhibition , 90 Feedback were obtained


BIHAR

During this month DFP bihar region organized / mount extensive campaign on N.I.C.H, Swachh abhiyan etc. at Office and field level. In all, Units organized 42 Film Shows, 1 Special programme, 67 Oral Communications and 36 photo exhibitions.


CHHATTISGARH

During the reporting month one day workshop organize at Raipur on the SOP subject on 28th . Science express has been covered by three units that is Bilaspur . Jabalpur and Durg. On 2nd Oct. observed cleanness campaign covered by the Region , pledge was taken and Office were cleaned up


GUJARAT

Six DFP units in Gujarat arranged 68 film shows, 79 group discussions, 50 photo exhibitions and 11 special interactive programmes on Right to Information Act and consumer awareness. Units submitted 20 feedback reports on RTI act. Programmes on 2nd October Gandhi Jayanti at Bhuj Village and all DFP Unit also organised a special theme of swacha Bharat Abhiyan. Through these programmes, they reached around 26 thousand people.


JAMMU & KASHMIR

In view of the recent devastating flood in Kashmir, the valley based field units could not organize any field activities. However, the field units of Jammu/Ladakh Region organized routine as well as special publicity activities on RTI-2005 and Swachh Bharat Abhiyaan.


JHARKHAND

All the seven units of Jharkhand and Central Region conducted massive campaign on issued like Swachh Bharat Abhiyan Beti Bachao Beti Padhao Prandhanmantri Jan Dhan Yojna and SVEEP. The Regional Head monitored the field programmes at Jamshedpur and Chaibasa in which various programmes were organiged.


KARNATAKA

The Field Units of Karnataka Region organized Programmes on Swatchh Bharat Abhiyan during the month in identified blocks by organizing interactive programmes. On the day of Gandhi Jayathi i.e on 02 October 14 Regional Office and Karnataka FPUs organised Special programmes on Swatchh Bharat Abhiyan.


KERALA



MADHYA PRADESH

8 units ne poshan ahar saptah, sadbhavna divas, hath dhulai, Pradhan mantri jan-dhan yuojna, jay vividhta aur jal b\vayu parivartan par chalayman rail praya darshni (Science Express) adi ke vishay me samjhaish.


MAHARASHTRA

महाराष्ट्र में आचार संहिता के चलते इकाइयों ने SVEEP, मतदाता जागृति, मतदान का महत्व पर जनजागृति की। 2/10/14 को इकाइयों के कर्मचारियों ने स्वच्छता शपथ ली। DAVPके स्वच्छ भारत अभियान पर बनाए विज्ञापन के बारेमें स्थानीय अभिमत नेताओं से प्रतिक्रियाएं ली ।सभी कर्मचारियों ने सतर्कता जागरूकता शपथ ली।


MMT

During the month, DFP MMT Region undertook 72 Tour Days & covered 75 rural villages. Highlights of Field activities are- 77 F-Shows, 16 Spl Programs, 214 OC, 81 Photo exhb, 65 Feedbacks. Feedback format not updated online. Hence, Feedback couldn't upload. Theme of the month PMJDY, Swatcch Bharat,etc


NAGALAND & MANIPUR

Special Programmes on the theme Right to Information Act RTI were organised in the region.This month our region organised Swachh Bharat Mission on Programme on 2nd October at all dfp units and Regional office kohima of N&M region.


NORTH WEST

रोहतक इकाई ने निम्न स्वीप विशेष कार्यक्रम व रैलि की 1. राजकीय उच्च विद्यालय पटवापुर (कलानौर ब्लॉक/रोहतक जिला ) में स्वीप रैलि 26-9-14 2. ग्राम आँवल में स्वीप कार्यक्रम 27-9-14 3. राजकीय उच्च विद्यालय सिंघपुरा खुर्द ( रोहतक ब्लॉक/रोहतक जिला ) में स्वीप रैलि कार्यक्रम 29-9-14 4. के0 डी0 हाई स्कूल, रोहतक में स्वीप रैलि कार्यक्रम 8-9-14


ORISSA

During the month of October FPUs of Odisha region visited 95 Villages and addressed more than 28000 of target audiences. During the field programmes the units organised 4 special programmes on international non-violence day,RTI and IDDCP.The region observed the Swachha Bharat Abhiyan on 2nd October.


RAJASTHAN

An orientation workshop on PM Jandhan Yojana and Swach Bharat Abhiyan was organized on 13th October,2014 at Regional Office, Jaipur. Shri Ramcharan Bohra Hon’ble MP, Jaipur was invited as the Chief guest.


TAMIL NADU

All units involved in Swachh Bharat Abhiyan programme on 2-10-2014 and also organised 5 special programmes jointly by the units on SOP during this month including 84 filmshows, 17 special programmes, 137 oral communications,84 photo exhibitions and 27 feedbacks collected in 93 villages.9


UTTAR PRADESH

A one day SOP Workshop ( Beti Bachao, Beti Padhao Pradhan Mantri Jan Dhan Yojana Swatch Bharat Abhiyan) has been organized on 17/10/14 by Lucknow Region. Campaign on Hand Wash Day, NIDDCP, H&FW, Hindi Diwas and Swatch Bharat Mission has been organised by the Units of Lucknow Region.


UTTARANCHAL

The units of this region organized 85 Film Shows, 24 Special Programmes, 104 Oral Communication and 78 Photo Exhibition on the subject RTI/Pradhanmantri Jan Dhan Yojna/Beti bacho Beti padao/Rastriya Swatchhta Mission and covered 18 villages in boarder area, 6 in minorities area and 51 in other areas


WEST BENGAL(NORTH)

West Bengal (North) Region highlited themes like RTI, Swachh Abhiyan, through the suitable informative group talks and displaying of photo poste exhibitions etc. with feedbacks. People contacted during the programme period were informed to use RTI at their need and attention towards the cleanliness


WEST BENGAL(SOUTH)

In the last week of September, 2014 DFP, West Bengal(S) Region organized mass awareness programmes on Right To Information(RTI) among the target group of audience. Other important themes like Health & FW, NICH, AIDS, Mother and Child Health, Save Water, Girl Child Education were also publicised by the FPUs of WB(S) Region In October 2014. To create mass awareness on the above themes, the FPUs covered 34 villages of BADP areas in Murshidabad , North 24 Parganas and Nadia districts, 14 villages of LWE areas in Bankura and Paschim Medinipur districts, 14 villages in Minority Community(MCD) areas of Bardhaman & Hooghly districts and in 08 village of other identified areas in North 24 Parganas, Kolkata and Hooghly districts. Altogether 147 group discussions, 17 special programmes, 67 photo exhibitions and 46 film shows were conducted while a total 38658 people(Approx.) were covered in the month of October 2014. Total 25 feedback stories were collected by the units of West Bengal(South) Region in October 2014. FPUs namely Chuchura and Medinipur organized suitable publicity programmes including rally, seminars, three competitions and other related publicity programmes during arrival and halting period of Science Express Biodiversity Special train for a period of four days from 25th to 28th September, 2014 in and around Barasat Railway Station(Kolkata), North 24 Parganas district involving School children, teachers, youths and local people. A seminar on Biodiversity & its Conservation was organized by FPU Chinsurah jointly with District Administration, North 24 Parganas district in Rabindra Bhavan, Barasat on 26.09.2014 where Director, DFP, Kolkata attended and delivered the welcome address & introductory speech on behalf of DFP. Besides other eminent personalities namely Shri Saikat Kr. Dutta ADM(Development), North 24 Pgs. District, Shri Bijit Kr. Dhar, ADM(Land Revenue), North 24 Pgs,Shri Manobendra Das, Secretary Jilla Parisad, North 24 Pgs,Shri Samrat Chatterjee, Chairman, District Primary School Council, Shri S Palodhi, ADG(M&C), PIB, Kolkata, Shri Sandipan Dasgupta FPO Chuchura and others were present in the seminar. FPU Bankura attended Indian National Exhibition Cum-Fair 2014 held at Science City Ground , J.B.S. Haldane Avenue, Kolkata for three days from 23rd to 25th September 2014 and organized suitable publicity programmes on RTI and Biodiversity. On 02.10.2014 all the staff members of Regional Office and FPUs of DFP West Bengal(South) Region observed ‘Swachh Bharat Abhiyan’ by taking Pledge in three languages namely Hindi, English and Bengali along with Cleanliness Drive on 02.10.2014 at 11.00 hrs. at the respective Office premises and outside the office premises of both RO and FPUs with a view to realize Gandhiji’s dream of a Clean India by the 150th birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi in 2019.
